American prototype tank T-28 (T-95)
T28, aka T95— is an American experimental superheavy tank and self-propelled artillery installation (ACS) of the World War II period. This project from September 1943, initially as a tank, later as a 105 mm self-propelled gun, but was never completed by the end of the war, which is why its production was limited to two prototypes. T28 / T95 was distinguished by heavy armor and a huge mass - about 95 tons; this is the second largest armored vehicle model ever embodied in metal - after the super-heavy tank "Mouse".
