Panavia Tornado

Panavia Tornado is a combat jet aircraft with a variable sweep wing, developed in the early 1970s by specialists of the German company Messerschmitt—Belkov-Blom, together with the British company British Aerospace and with the participation of the Italian Alenia Aeronautica.

It exists in two main modifications: the Tornado IDS fighter-bomber and the Tornado ADV interceptor. For a long time it was one of the main combat aircraft of European NATO countries. It was widely used in a number of military conflicts. By the end of the 2010s, ADV interceptors were removed from service everywhere.
