The T-90 Vladimir is a Russian main battle tank.
In the period from 2001 to 2010, the T-90 tank became the best-selling new main tank on the world market.
Since the end of 2011, the purchase of T-90 tanks for the Russian Armed Forces has been temporarily discontinued; since April 2020, the Russian Air Force has begun deliveries of an upgraded version, the T-90M.
After the death of the chief designer of the tank, Vladimir Ivanovich Potkin, by the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation, the T-90 tank was given the verbal name "Vladimir".
As of 2019, the cost of the new T-90 is 2.5—3.5 million dollars, T-90MS — 4.5 million dollars.
